Whether you are training for a marathon or training to live a healthier life, your Peak Fitness trainer will design a plan tailored to you. We strive to challenge your understanding of your abilities and your commitment to a healthier lifestyle.

What should I expect from my personal trainer?

Consultation

At our first meeting, before doing anything else, we’ll sit down and talk. It is important that you share any health conditions or concerns you might have, so we can work around these to protect your health and safety. I will want to get a good idea of your current health and fitness routines, as well as what you hope to accomplish. We’ll talk about what kinds of activities you like and dislike. I use all of this information to develop a training plan that is customized to you.

Fitness Assessment

Next we’ll spend some time assessing you’re at with your fitness. This helps me plan workouts that are appropriate and safe for you, set realistic goals, and how best to help you reach those goals. If you feel like this is a test, don’t worry. There’s no grade. Just try your hardest. You’re here to improve, not to set a record.

Plan of Action

Once our first session is over, I’ll be able to give you a plan of action for your ongoing fitness. This may include diet guidelines, instructions for working out on your own, appointments to come back for more training sessions, and more.
